You may have noticed that the site has been down this past week. We had a strange glitch on our system while we were backing up our summer shows resulting in the loss of our drive. we could not get the full resolution images back so you actually benefit from our disaster. All of the images posted on-line are low to medium resolution rather than high resolution. While you can't print large images from these files they do print well up to 5x7. Additionally they are perfectly sized for on-line sharing.
We have dropped the price to $1 per image up to 25 images and any additional image is just $.50. You can select the immediate download option (works only with credit card or paypal payment and not check) or add your images to a cd. The diagram below will help you understand how to add images to a cd. There is also a .pdf you can view by clicking here. Be aware that the .pdf mentions a 10 image cd. We do not do those anymore. The good news is you can add up to 25 images on your CD and anything beyond that is again only $.50 a photo.
What a GREAT fair this year! The rain held out for the most part and even when it did rain you guys were prepared with an amazing tarp. Who was the brainchild behind that? If we can figure out what to do with that awful heat and humidity we just may have things down. Awesome job to all of you - from the riders and horses, parents, coaches and advisors, fair staff, the fried cheese guy and especially tractor boy. You are all amazing!
This year we were honored to photograph the Livestock Auction as well. And there's no cutting any of you short. What a dedicated group of young guys and girls. Congratulations on your auction and the terrific job you did with your animals. I seriously wanted one of those bunnies! A note about your photos: We shot most of the photos wide - meaning you can see outside the backdrop. That is intentional because we have no way of knowing ahead of time what sizes you want. Each can be cropped according to your size to eliminate the surrounding clutter.
Finally, thank you all for your patience this year. Many of you may have heard that our show trailer was vandalized here in Michigan prior to the Ottawa County Fair. That made things a little more difficult for you this year to see your photos as well as for us. This caused a little confusion between Frawgbyte Photography and the Fair Board that we were able to resolve. Our photographer was able to capture the largest majority of your week. Some factors such as extreme dust actually prevented some classes from being photographed due to the fine dust possibly seeping into our camera sensors. (take note fairboard-----you need to water or use techniques to control the dust. Check this out: http://www.myhorse.com/get-control-horse-arena-dust.html)
Pass the word along that your photos are ready to view and purchase. We have kept our CD prices at last years low rate and have also added a new purchase now - download now option. If you have any questions or comments please email us at photos@frawgbyte.com. Oh and by the way - we have already committed to the 2011 Ottawa County Fair!!
The photo above illustrates where to find the CD option on the price list. Email us if you are confused.
